Grand Theft Auto V (abbr. GTA V) is a multi-platform action and open world video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. SOLUTIONS
Mission crash with a garbage truck / jewelry / Blitz Play
When you need to get into the garbage truck and go, just blow it up 3 times with a grenade or whatever you want, or die yourself. An option to skip the mission will appear! It is enough to not use explosives in the mission, no sticky bombs, no grenades, nothing explosive. The door of the collector, just select any gun, point it at the door, press the right button to aim and press the G key, the door will explode. The garbage truck will need to be shot, after which the transition to Michael will occur without a departure.
Solving the problem with aiming in a car
When using ANY throwing objects (grenades, sticky mines, canisters, etc.), we aim the pistol where we want to throw and use the (G) key on the keyboard, that is, in no case do we pick up grenades, aim, or throw with the mouse! !! And regarding crashes due to the sight, I will say that when you aim from a car, the load increases and the FPS sags, lower the settings, the video simply does not hold up. Also – select DX10 or DX10.1, depending on what you have and restart the game and go through the mission again. Also, try changing the main button to F12, and put the additional button on the right mouse button.
Solving the problem with various crashes
Play in windowed mode or better yet, in windowed mode without frames and you won’t see crashes from missions!
Crashes when switching between characters on missions Blitz Game and Big Snatch
Delete the cfg.dat and pc_settings.bin files in the documents Rockstar Games/GTA V/Profiles/DFE3B7FD, launch the game, adjust the brightness. DO NOT go into the settings inside the game yet – go through the missions calmly and there will be no crashes. For those who were not helped by the removal, try not using sticky bombs and grenades to blow up the doors – blow up the doors with a grenade launcher or RPG. (at least in the Big Snatch mission, the bank bars are taken out with a grenade launcher) Also in the Big Snatch mission: at the moment when the gold is already in the cages, but the helicopter has not flown away, and you are running to kill enemies who are coming out of the vault (which you broke into) die three times and miss. Then, at the moment where you need to get into the escape vehicle, you die and miss out. It crashes mainly when switching characters – die 3 times and miss the mission.
Crash on the mission Derailed
This mission IS PLAYABLE IN WINDOWED MODE! Also, I completed the mission Derailed in this way: I disabled the option “Automatically pause the game in the background” in the “Graphics” menu and at the moment of switching from Trevor to Michael, when the camera was already starting to take off, I minimized the game to tray (Alt+Tab), waited about 5 seconds and, voila, Michael was already in the boat! The flight has passed!
Bug in the mission Free Fall (Caida Libre)
You don’t need to blow up the van, but drown it! Also, you complete the mission, and when the message appears that the mission has been completed, you go to the menu. You fumble around in it and return to the game.
Departure in the mission Scam / Monkey Business (Monkey Business)
Crashes at the end of the mission when Trevor is driving a woman home. More precisely, before this moment. It goes like this: you complete the mission, die 3 times when you fly back with the cargo and skip the scene.
Taking off on a mission where you need to steal a plane with weapons
During a parachute jump – do not press the right mouse button during Trevor’s flight – this will happen when his plane is hit by fighters. As soon as he starts running along the burning plane and before landing, do not press the right mouse button and everything will be in chocolate.
Going on a bank robbery mission in a rural area
After the tank flies, he switches to Franklin and takes off. Solution: Play in first person and skip chapters.
